Boston medical examiner Maura, dejected by a love affair that’s going nowhere, runs into a handsome old friend at a conference. She and a few of his friends set off for an impromptu ski trip. GPS sends them on the shortest route, a road that goes unplowed in winter, and they are forced to abandon their car and find shelter. They wind up at Kingdom Come, a small village inhabited by a cult whose sole purpose, it appears, is to please their leader and supply their young virgins to him and the rest of the men who do his bidding.
